Abstract
Abstract Aim. This study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between religious coping style and quality of life in patients with coronary artery disease. Background.Nowadays, beliefs and religious coping are considered as a significant factor in the development of psychological comfort and personal adaptation in patients with chronic diseases. Methods. This descriptive-correlational study was conducted on 100 inpatients and outpatients with coronary artery disease in two selected teaching hospitals in Qom. Convenience sampling method was used to select patients. Short form 36 health survey questionnaire (SF-36) and Pargament religious coping styles were used for data collection. Results. The mean and standard deviation Scores for positive and negative religious coping style were respectively 23.36 (3.88) and 10.80 (3.91).Among patients, 54.2% had high scores on positive religious coping strategies and 40.6% had high scores on negative religious coping strategies.Regarding to quality of life ,there was statistically significant relationship between positive religious coping styles and physical pain (r=0.24, P<0.05) and inverse significant relationship between negative religious coping styles and social functioning and mental health (r=0.29, P<0.01). Conclusion. Accordingly, teaching of coping skills focusing on strengthening religious coping styles in routine care of coronary artery patients may improve the quality of life and health status in these patients.

Abstract
Aim. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of preferred music on sleep quality of patients after coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG).
Background. Sleep disorder is common among patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery that can also affect other postoperative outcomes.
Method. This study was a quasi-experimental trial in which 70 patients who were undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery were recruited using convenience sampling method and assigned into the experimental and control group. Patients in experimental group listened to their preferred music by MP3 player for 20 minutes during 4 consecutive days, while patients in control group received only routine care. The patients’ sleep quality was measured before and after the intervention by means of Pittsburgh sleep quality inventory. Data were analyzed by SPSS, version 16, and descriptive and inferential statistical were used to report the findings.
Findings. There was no statistically significant difference in sleep quality, before and after intervention in experimental and control groups.
Conclusion. Music did not have effect on sleep quality among patients undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery, but the study can be reproduced with some modifications (change in intervention time and period and targeted selection of patients) in future studies.

Abstract
Aim. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of early mobilization on hemodynamic parameters in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
Background. CABG is one of the most common surgeries that can increase quality of life and reduce mortality in most cases. It seems that early mobilization of patients from bed may reduce complications after surgery. The most important concern regarding early mobilization is the possible effect on hemodynamic parameters based on which this important intervention is neglected.
Method. In a clinical trial with 100 patients who were candidate for CABG. The patients were randomly assigned to experimental and control group. The experimental group were mobilized from bed in the first, second and third day after surgery. The control group received the hospital routine treatments and mobilization was done in the third day after the operation. The effect of early mobilization on hemodynamic parameters were compare between the groups. Other treatment programs were the same for both group. Data were analyzed in SPSS version 18 and using independent t-test, Chi-square and ANOVA statistical testes.
Findings. There was no statistically significant difference between groups regarding demographic variables and underlying diseases. In the experimental group, blood pressure was higher in the second and third days compared with that control group. Chest tube drainage on the third day were 495±241 ml for experimental group and 556±285 ml for the control group, and no statistically significant difference was found between the groups in terms of chest tube drainage. None of the patients showed any complication during the mobilization.
Conclusion. The experimental group experienced a minimal increase in blood pressure, but it was not clinically significant. The results of this study indicate that early mobilization from bed in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft is a safe and applicable intervention, and don’t increase bleeding and acute hemodynamic changes.

Abstract
Aim. This study aimed to examine the effect of education about anti-platelet drugs consumption through telephone follow-up on medication adherence in patients with coronary angioplasty.
Background. Regarding the necessity of proper use of antiplatelet drugs after coronary angioplasty, adherence to treatment is of great importance, and it is considered as one of the major concerns.
Method. This quasi-experimental study was conducted on 392 patients with percutaneous coronary intervention. The patients were divided into two experimental (telephone fallow-up) and control (without telephone fallow-up) group for one year. Adherence to treatment was assessed using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale before and after percutaneous coronary intervention. Data were analyzed using t-test, chi-square and linear regression model in SPSS software.
Findings. The mean age of patients was 61.71±10.28 years in the experimental group and 60.72±11.14 years in the control group. Changes in the mean score of medication adherence was 53.09±1.37 in the experimental group and 18.09±1.30 in the control group, indicating a statistically significant increase in medication adherence in the experimental group compared with the control group (P=0.001). Non-use of anticoagulants in the experimental group increased until the end of the sixth month of telephone follow-up and then, decreased until the end of the twelfth month of follow-up.
Conclusion. Since changes in the mean score of adherence to medication in the experimental and control groups was significant, it is recommended that follow-up interventions in patients be continued continuously for at least one year.

Abstract
Aim. This study examines the relationship of COVID-19 infection with demographic characteristics of the staff at Rajaie Cardiovascular Institute during the first six months of the epidemic.
Background. The COVID-19 virus was first identified in December 2019 in China and then rapidly spread to other countries. One of the challenges that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic was human resource management. This led managers to prioritize protecting and managing employee health and safety.
Method. This descriptive-analytical study was conducted on the staff of the Rajaei Cardiovascular Institute who were infected with COVID-19 between February and September 22, 2020. Demographic characteristics and clinical variables of the patients were collected using clinical records, interviews with the infected individuals, and phone calls. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software version 22.
Findings. Over six months, 448 individuals with a mean age of 38.86 years contracted COVID-19. Among them, 280 individuals (62.5 percent) were female. A total of 155 employees (67.1 percent) developed symptoms of the disease within one to five days after contact with an infected person. Additionally, 206 employees (48.4 percent) used all three protective measures—masks, gloves, and social distancing. Contact with an infected individual was observed as the most common method of disease transmission. The most common symptoms among the infected were myalgia, weakness, and fever, with only 3.5 percent requiring hospitalization.
Conclusion. Most patients, despite following health and personal protection guidelines, contracted COVID-19. Therefore, it seems that in addition to adhering to health guidelines, vaccination is also an important necessity to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Other factors, such as changes in virus strains and people's failure in following health protocols, also contribute to the spread of the disease.
